This is in for a full overhaul and troubleshooting as to why pulling the handle does nothing.
Update: The clock was stuck solid (sprayed with WD-40 to break it loose) and then it started spinning. I noticed a crucial shoulder screw is missing from the escalator (I found it wedged in the mech - whew!).
It is pulled completely apart and then put through the parts washer. After the parts washer, it is dried and then hand-cleaned with Laquer Thinner before assembly. Some scrapping was involved for dried grease. After assembly with all new cotter pins throughout. Oil and grease were applied where needed. It goes through a full test of play before back to the owner. Turned out great!
